Cresset Adds $1.4 Billion Team To Houston Office

The addition of the team comes a few week after another group in Wyoming came on board.
Cresset, a US wealth manager, has added a $1.4 billion team to its Houston office.
Team members are led by Michael Ellington, Zach Gardner, and Danique van der Velden. The team used to work with Bernstein Private Wealth Management. It advises business owners, entrepreneurs, and ultra-high net worth families, specifically on pre- and post-transaction planning, including public and private investment management, estate and tax planning.
The news comes a few weeks after Cresset welcomed a team in Jackson Hole, Wyoming with $1.8 billion of assets.
The business also recently appointed Albert Leshinsky as managing director, head of corporate development. This news service has interviewed Eric Becker, co-founder, about his vision for the firm and his approach to business. In August, FWR's US correspondent examined the business's merger with Denver-based investment consultant Monticello Associates.
